SB, you are a member here like everyone else and free to post whatever, I guess.
But this Ukrainian ladies thing is just getting too worn and tired to the point that it is getting a bit annoying.
Here is my suggestion for the forum.
It should try to attract as wider audience as possible by advertising or other means at the same time using good moderation (which the board has now in place).
As far as I know ,the number of expats in Kiev, let alone Ukraine, is quite significant, yet only less then 20 are regulars here. I am thinking why would that be the case?
Do expats not know about the site? Are they too busy to participate?
I think the site has such a potential which is not fully being explored.
I agree Vera. looking at this site you'd think there were more expats in Burkina Faso than Ukraine. Site would benefit from some PR exposure in Kiev Post, What's On etc or just issue some business cards to members that they can give to friends. Or how about a referral scheme where whoever recommends most new members gets a prize? You are right there are 1,000's of expats in Kiev alone, but the majority have been here a long time and are beyond the aren't the ladies here cute threads that plague this site.
