Just another invasion of privacy. Don't like it at all.... What's next, postings of everyone's e-mail addresses too? I hope it is a technical mistake in the making of being corrected.

I wonder would it track memers only or guests too?

We have the same thing (although not on public display) on our websites so we can monitor how many visitors and which countries, which web pages on the site they visited, which page is the most visited etc. etc.  Very useful business tool considering if we were to rely on the Ukrainian business post we would not even know if letters reached the addressee.

Now if I am in contact with someone in the UAE or Saudi etc etc. I can see if they have hit our website as a result of the email or letter (yes we do still send letters) we sent them.

Ours captures anyone who hits our website (even if the site is down for whatever reason) so I imagine it will get guests too should Admin want to know.

The tracking goes too far. Some members will just stop using the board and move on to the Moscow site in Russia instead. At least I will consider that from now on, moving on from Kyiv to Moscow. I just have to remember not to say anythIng bad about Putin there, I got sensored a few times there already and had to almost "beg" to have my account activated again. One thing is to monitor for Admin but to make iT public defeats the purpose. Why not also post everyone's e-mail as well while at it.    Silverbullet at the Moscow site too.

Like I say, ours is hidden.

From a business point of view, our displaying it may cause unwanted attention here as numerous international guests from "rich countries" would not keep a low profile..............if you know what I mean.

Vera, That is no surprise. Americans are the ones that are really serious about Ukrainian ladies. I think Americans are less judgemental and open to new cultures and customs, while many Europeans are more restrictive. Americans are just used to people from all nations in the first place and don't discriminate for the most part. Then American men also recognize the beauty Ukrainian women posses and their good moral values.   SB

Vera, Admin has gone too far on this matter. You can see what topic everyone is reading, what sections and so on. You can start keeping track of everyone. It is just wrong. As for the business aspect of the site, I guess all particiapts are driving business to the site, but with this new tracking feature on display it may hurt business when contributors stop using the site because of this. Ed already left who accounted for 50% by my estimate and helped keep the quality of the site up.  I might be next after this unless it is corrected ASAP. SB
