There is a fantastic Tibetan restaurant not far from Red Square. The food is mouthwatering and even being where it is it isn't expensive at all. I can't remember the name of the street it is on, but it's a turn off Tverskoi Prospekt. I know it isn't very Russian - but neither is Moscow!

The train is by far the best way to get there as it gets you straight into Kievskaya station in the centre. Not sure what nationality you are but if you are not ex CIS you will need visa, invitation and all that mullarkey. Moscow is great but not cheap re hotels, restaurants etc. You might want to look at www.redtape.ru

Thanks for that. I'm from Poland and I need a visa. Work for corpo so know people there - invitation is not a problem Smiley.
If anyone has want to add something about Moscow would be nice. I will go there probably in January and of course will place here my experience
