Never had a bad experience with Borispol.....nothing ever stolen. If someone is "smart" enough to put laptops or whatever in their checked in luggage then it is THEIR problem. Common sense tells us not to do it- by doing this we invite theft. It is just human nature, why provoke it with your actions???
We all know that many in Ukraine are underpaid. When you are underpaid you feel cheated and you begin to envy the ones who have it all while you struggle to feed your family. You feel it is not just- therefore theft.
Nothing surprising here- very natural. Put all your valuable belongings to you carry on luggage!!!!
