Sunday evening July 20th, there was a free concert held in Mariinsky featuring the "State Academic Pop Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine".  Either sit at the ampitheater or at one of the nearby outdoor cafes.  And enjoy two hours of classical music for free.

My understanding is that this is a series of summer concerts.  Having said that, my wife heard somewhere that this one was that last one this summer.  Does summer end here in July?  Anyway, assuming the summer series hasn't ended yet, it's a good way to spend a Sunday evening and not spend much money.

I got all excited but then you said WAS. Are these concerts an official state secret?
