I Fancy it may be - Chelsea Wink,Man Utd,Liverpool,Arsenal, then Perhaps Villa and West Ham.
Any of the above 5 could break Chelsea`s Home record on a Good day.

Fortress Chelsea has not been Breached in Over 4 Years in the League.

Chelsea have Not lost a league game at the Bridge since the 1-2 reverse to Arsenal on 21 February 2004 (won 60, drawn 22). Not lost in 103 domestic matches in front of the home faithful.

Not Sure about Spurs,if they had Not Drawn 5 of their last 9?  Games at the End of last Season they would have been in a Relegation Dog Fight,
No Keane or Defoe this Season and Berbatov has head Down Huh

Spurs rule out move for Arshavin

 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/t/tottenham_hotspur/7537039.stm

Arshavin has openly welcomed the prospect of a move to Spurs
Tottenham have ended their interest in signing Russia playmaker Andrei Arshavin, BBC Sport understands.

Zenit St Petersburg had wanted as much as £24m for Arshavin, 27, but even after lowering their asking price, Spurs are now pursuing other targets.

One of those is not, though, Michael Owen, contrary to media reports.

Russia striker Roman Pavlyuchenko was another reported transfer target, but boss Juande Ramos's interest has apparently cooled over recent weeks.

Berbatov angles for 'dream' move

  http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/t/tottenham_hotspur/7568809.stm

Berbatov started Spurs' opening game of the season on the bench
Tottenham's Dimitar Berbatov has dropped his clearest hint yet that he sees his future away from the club.

Manchester United have already had a £20.5m bid rejected for Berbatov, 27, and Spurs remain reluctant sellers.

"I'm now in Tottenham but no-one can disagree with me wanting to follow my dream," said the Bulgarian striker.

It is believed he handed in a transfer request last week and he was left on the bench for Spurs' first game of the season on Saturday at Middlesbrough.

Carrick faces three-week absence

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/man_utd/7568016.stm

Carrick sustained the ankle injury in United's 1-1 draw with Newcastle
Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick could be out for up to three weeks because of the ankle injury he sustained against Newcastle on Sunday.

"Michael suffered a bad blow to his ankle," said United boss Sir Alex Ferguson. "It was pretty swollen. He will be out for two or three weeks."

Carrick, 27, has already pulled out of the England squad for Wednesday's friendly against the Czech Republic.

He will also miss United's games with Portsmouth and Zenit St Petersburg.

United travel to Fratton Park in the Premier League on 25 August and take on the Russian side in Monaco in the European Super Cup on 29 August.

Carl, I tip Liverpool for third, and think Man U will pull away from Chelsea when Scolari runs out of ideas. But I'm no expert...

Yeah we can see that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why do you think Scolari will run out of ideas?Huh Reluctantly I think they will be Champions in May

At least they will play better football this season but doubt they will touch the levels that Arsenal can reach, If Eduardo is back before November and gets it together they could do it as he is the missing piece.

As for Liverpool, still a kick and rush to Torres team, will do well to get 4th!!!

Villa might have a great season for my money, John Carew is the most underated player in the Prem.

As for Manu, as long as "horrible Neville" is out all season I will be happy!!!

Bring it on!

 Portuguese striker joins Chelsea
Not Who We Expected?,Perhaps More to Come Yet!.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/chelsea/7575799.stm

Chelsea have signed Sporting Lisbon striker Fabio Paim on loan with a view to securing him on a permanent deal.

Chelsea have agreed a deal with the Portuguese club for the 20-year-old to join on an initial one-year loan.

Striker Claudio Pizarro recently left Stamford Bridge to join Werder Bremen on loan, while Andrei Shevchenko's future remains unclear.

Sporting have an excellent record in developing young players, most notably Cristiano Ronaldo.

Under contract to Sporting until 2010, Paim was loaned to Portuguese club Pacos da Ferreira last season.

Traore joins Portsmouth on loan
Another Good Deal for Happy Harry!

 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/p/portsmouth/7575385.stm

Armand Traore joined Arsenal in 2005 from Monaco
Portsmouth have signed Arsenal's French left-back Armand Traore on a one-year loan deal.

The highly-rated youngster is in need of first-team experience having had limited chances at Arsenal.

Traore, 18, who joined the Gunners from Monaco in 2005, has made 18 first-team appearances, including the 2007 Carling Cup final defeat against Chelsea.

His chances of first-team football this season appear limited after the arrival of Mikael Silvestre on Wednesday.

Real change Robinho transfer tack

 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/chelsea/7559701.stm

Real Madrid have changed their stance over Robinho's possible transfer and told him they will not keep him against his will if he wants to join Chelsea.

"Real Madrid would never want to retain a player against his wishes," the club said in a statement on their website.

"As a result we have no alternative but to accept his unilateral decision to rescind his contract."

It is unclear if Real will now agree a fee with Chelsea, or if Robinho will have to buy out his £120m contract.

In Spain all professional players have a "buy-out clause" written into their contracts and can move without their club's agreement, though in practice the player's new club pays that sum.

And, while Dutch winger Ryan Babel has returned from the Olympics, midfielders Lucas and Javier Mascherano are not yet back from Beijing.

Middlesbrough's new signing Justin Hoyte may make his debut at right-back.

Egyptian duo Mido and Mohamed Shawky were both on international duty and Boro boss Gareth Southgate will check on their fitness.

Striker search concerns Ferguson

 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/man_utd/7577970.stm

Dimitar Berbatov has been heavily linked with a move to United
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson says time is running out to sign a striker before the transfer window shuts at the end of the month.

United have been linked with a host of strikers in recent weeks, notably Tottenham forward Dimitar Berbatov.

"I am less optimistic than I was," said Ferguson, who had vowed to sign a striker for the start of the season.

"We have 11 days left before the transfer deadline and we are working at something, you never know in football."

The Premier League and European champions have also been linked with David Silva, Thierry Henry, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and Roque Santa Cruz, who signed a new four-year contract with Blackburn on Friday.

Fulham striker Andrew Johnson will again miss out as he is still receiving treatment for a thigh strain.

Seol Ki-Hyeon is therefore expected to continue in attack with Bobby Zamora.

Arsenal's Samir Nasri has shaken off a thigh injury and fellow midfielder Alexandre Song is available after his return from the Olympics.

New signing Mikael Silvestre is a doubt to play because of a muscle strain, while Cesc Fabregas remains out with a hamstring injury.

Arsenal got Beat 1-0 by a Determined home team Fulham,
Arsenal seemed to run out of Idea`s and badly need Fabricas back.

Stoke Won 3-2 with the Help of a Dubious Penalty and a 94th Minute Goal.

Liverpool seemed to be going Nowhere after Mido`s 70th Minute Goal for Boro, then they get an Equaliser-Wicked Deflection 86th Minute and then another 94th Minute Goal.

Spurs are playing just as i Summed them up before the Start of the Season,no Big Striker, lack of Goals and Dominance, poor Defence.
