Basketball for amateurs

Hello...

I am here in kiev since 5 months and now I found the time to start my hoppy again. Unfortunately I didn`t found a club where I can play basketball. I am an amateur and looking only for a business compensation e.g one time per week. Did somebody of you know where I can find such a basketball club?

As I'm a) English and b) 5 foot 8, I don't know much about basketball. A bit off topic already but I'd like to try handball - does Kyiv have any clubs?

thanks for your feedback...Basketball is like a passion for me...so at first I try to find such a club in Kiev...if it doesn´t work I`ll come back to yours...

I was playing badminton at a club where I saw there were also some people playing basketball, mainly on Wednesdays. They are amateurs for sure, so I don't know if you would like playing with them, but you can try.
