Hello,

I just moved to Ukraine and live in Pervomaysk, which is a small city close to Nikolaev.  Anyways, I want to buy a new computer with an English version of windows, so I was just wondering where I can find a good deal.  I am willing to travel to another city to shop, or do some of you suggest I can get better deals from shopping online?  If online, what websites do you recommend, and since I have no experience having stuff shipped to Ukraine yet, do they use the postal service, or Fedex or something else?  Another idea, is it easy and cheaper to find someone to build a computer from scratch?  Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

The Windows version in international (XP and Vista) - you can easily change the setting from Russian to English. No need to travel all over Ukraine to look for an English version. The same goes for the keyboard setting. The stores can change it for you - if not I can walk you through it - straight forward. I have settings for 5 languages on my computer and can jump back and forth with a keystroke - even to cyrrilic letters.  Grin

A bit off topic, but this is to continue regarding the keyboard settings. I did it a bit differently. I bought a compact English/ Russian keyboard for $15 Smiley, attached it to my laptop and all I have to do is hit Alt+ Shift to switch from Russian to English.

I just had my step-son put the little stickers on my laptop showing both Russian and English characters - cost about 18 UAH.
