Ukrainian Restaurants

What really aggravates/irritates you about Ukrainian restaurants?

I could only really find 2 which are common for me......the worst is always music just loud enough to make you raise your voice to be heard.

I find this noise very annoying.  I always theorize learning to have a conversation was a upper class during Soviet times, and thus the hangover from this era?

The volume doesn't annoy me so much as the fact that the TVs show music channels with the sound off and play their own music - nothing like seeing Timati lip-synching Westlife as I sip my borshch :-)

Reading menus, even those in English.   

And the TV's and music, especially.  Either lame music, or just too loud.

Still far too many allow smoking or have no designated non smoking areas!

Service levels can still be very low at times, even today I had a main course before my starter arrived!
