Foreign languages teaching market in Ukraine worth up to 400 mln USD per year

Kyiv's main business weekly Delovaya Stolitsa (dsnews.ua) gives a brief analysis of the foreign languages teaching market in Ukraine. The market evaluated in 200 mln USD per year. With private teachers included the value should be around 400 mln. USD yearly. 20% of these money are in Kyiv.

You need around 30-50 K USD investment to start your own teaching school business. But really good school with premises, equipment and trained staff will cost you 100-500 K USD according to business weekly. You can expect to return this investment in 1 year, article said. 40-80 USD per month costs the entry level course for children and starters. Up to 120 USD - is a medium level for working young professionals and 120 USD and more - the upper corporate level.

WTO membership and Euro2012 are two main reasons for the optimism. The State will spend budget money to teach officials and professionals soon.
