Hey everyone,

Now that I have been here for some time I am starting to feel the limitations of my Russian and the need for some more indepth study including some explanation of the grammar. Things like: две машины, два часа but после двух часов, those are really becoming a bit too many to remember one at a time. Surely there must be some rules  Grin

Does anyone here have some good experiences with language schools here in the capital?

Thanks for your help guys (and girls, of course)!

Try Nova Mova at Lva Tolstogo.

Call Gela 8 067403 7018 and tell him Ed told you to call him about arranging Russian classes.

They do good work and are used to dealing with westerners.

The Cambridge Centre is a clean, attractive building in one of the better areas of town, and the lady I met there was very pleasant. It seemed to have proper language-learning facilities too, so, as far as I'm qualified to judge, it would be a good choice.

Sorry guys for my late reply, I had sort of lost track of this thread somehow...

Thank you very much for your replies! I have been postponing this for a while now. Might not be a bad idea to finally get going and take some classes.

Just want to give a piece of advice: whatever course you attend always take a free trial lesson if possible and do not pay more than 2 weeks in advance

Also remember that any teacher will be happy to work with you off the school for half of the rate
