Bit of a spin-off from the employment debate not long ago. Having just said that Nastya will be starting an MA soon, she also plans to work full-time - but her current employer by all accounts is from the same breed of lowlives that we spent so much time cursing. So, a new job is needed and I'm trying to help a bit by making some enquiries.

So, does anyone know of reputable companies that are in need of English-speaking staff, or employment websites which provide support for recent graduates?

In this context, a lowlife is a person with very few morals.

He doesn't seem to be that bad, just not the person you want to have for an example when you've just finished university and are trying to build a career for yourself.

Jon,

I will be in Kyiv night of 17 (? - will need to check the thread) July for BK's grand Golf Opening.  My sphere of influence (with a different form of low-life some would argue  Undecided) has recently expanded to encompass some people in positions of "influence" in Kyiv.

I assume she is a Ukrainian citizen and therefore has no Work Visa issues but I would need some form of CV and background on her to push it under their noses.  It would again depend also on if she would want to work (assuming she has the right kind of education) in the place I have some connections.

If you are at BK's Golf Opening then we can discuss it there - if not please continue by PM.  Smiley

What sort of work is she looking for?  My company is currently recruiting for some junior admin positions - if she doesn't need a work permit and is interested in that sort of thing, drop me a line and I'll send you on more details.  Good English and Russian essential as the roles include formatting CVs for our recruitment consultants, as well as database administration (in both English and Russian).

Kyiv (Podil) area.
