Well I guess Kyiv (being the capital) Odessa and Crimea being tourist centres are what you are looking at.  In Odessa I would try and get some assistance from (and it may not necessarily be given unless you are persistant) an Odessa University called Odeski Gosudarstvenniy Universitet Ecconomiki i Managementa which teaches degree level travel and tourism and places the students in work experience in the Odessa hotels and the Odessa Chamber of Commerce situated in the city centre on Bolshaya Arnautskaya.

You could also try directly at the Odessa hotels, the bigger ones being Hotel Odessa on the sea front, London Hotel in the centre, Hotel Learmondovski near Shevchenko Park in Odessa, Mozart Hotel opposite the Opera House in the centre, Passage in the centre not from London Hotel and Frapolli not far from the sea front (close to Hotel Odessa).  I cannot think of any other large ones at present as obviously I never have to use them  Grin

You could also trying hitting one of this sites sponsors which has an Odessa Apartment complex run like a hotel on a nightly basis with the usual reception and service facilitators.  Hitting their website will keep them and our site administrator happy for sure!   Cheesy

I didnot think I would reach the dizzy heights of being called "Admin".  He is the "god like orb" which floats around the site, smacking legs when you are naughty and redirecting misplaced threads.....If only I had such power and was thought of so generously by my fellow expats  Grin!!!

You could try the Kyiv Post on line also - it is English language - www.kyivpost.com - go to the employment section and see what is there, although most (not all) is relating to positions in Kyiv.  Smiley

English language stuff is where you find it.  Use the internet.

CNN
BBC
Ukraine Business magazine
Online newspapers: Manchester Guardian, Washington Times, New York Times, hundreds of others.
Online TV stations:  hundreds of cities
Universities in America, Australia, Canada and the UK all have high-level, academic materials to read through
Look at language schools for the appropriate level readers - Penguin, Macmillan and Oxford publishers
Combine your entertainment budget: watch movies in English WITH English subtitles turned on.
Wikipedia is usually well-written - start your own read the encyclopedia project!

PS: Read OUT LOUD! whenever possible
