Which level of CIMA are you at right now?  I would think (although I do not know) you would have to be at least CIMA 3 if not CIMA 4 (fully Chartered).  Undecided

There are a number of bankers and accounts members of this forum who maybe can assist you - I am sure they will make themselves known to you if they can help in any capacity.  Smiley

CIMA Level 2 is the equivilent to AAT Level 4 (or there abouts if my memory serves  Undecided).  You can therefore do and prepare Cash Books, Sales ledgers, Purchase Ledgers, Profit & Loss Accounts and balance sheets (including work in progress) understand gearing, depreciation, provision for bad debts etc etc etc?

I cannot remember if CIMA Level 2 goes into any great detail relating to taxation (a problem here even if you do understand the tax system as everyone has 3 sets of books for various different reasons  Roll Eyes) but I am fairly certain it does not go into any great detail on financial auditing.

There is an option to come here and set up on your own as a Private Entreprenure as there will be many Expat's in Kyiv who need an "English speaking" person who can at least prepare (if not sign off) accounts for their businesses here.  Undecided

Not too sure about AAT !

but yeah pretty much what you mentioned is right!

I am also aware that the move in my situation is challenging but convinced that i have potential and drives to succeed and get to what i want.

I work in a recruitment consultancy/HR consultancy here in Kyiv - can't promise anything but you can send me your CV if you like and I'll run it by one of our consultants for their feedback

Can you speak any Russian?  That would definitely help but you never know, this is a fairly flexible country in many unexpected respects, so never say never! :-)
