I was wondering, if, as a distraction from our regular topics, just for fun , so to speak, anyone cared to share their all time favorite music - I am thinking (You tube clips) so we could all see and appreciate. The only thing is, I mean real all time favorites, not just any song that you like. I don’t know I might get a lot of smites for the idea. Oh well.....

No smiting from me, I think it's a great topic. If only I wasn't about to leave the computer...

My favourite album is "YaNaNebiBuv" by Okean El'zy - I also like Zemfira (too many songs to mention!)

There was a time when I was a bit of a music expert, but life in Ukraine changed that as there doesn't seem to be anything apart from mainstream. Off the top of my head, a French group called Les Nubien(ne?)s are pretty cool.

No particular order here....

Artists - Louis Armstrong, Nina Simone, Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, BING CROSBY, Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, Crystal Gayle, Natalie Cole, Faith Hill, Kenny Chesney, John Michael Montgomery, Tim McGraw, Barbara Streisand, Pink Floyd, Rage Against the Machine, Rammstein, Rippingtons, Lee Rittenour, Chick Corea, Craig Chaquiso, Bryan Culbertson, Wynton Marsalis, Dave Koz, Paul Hardcastle, Michael Mcdonald, Gerald Albright, Al Jarreau,...........

Oddly, despite being born in Tennessee, I grew up hating country music.    Huh

I "grew up hating country music" THEN I started liking it.

Yes, should have added AA, Boney James, Jim Brickman and Dana Krall on my list.
