Cheers, Nick, thank you for thinking about me! There is nNo "Thank you" facility here, so an "Applaud" will have to suffice.

This particular aid is unavailable on the UK's NHS as are most expensive digital aids. Those that are, lack the output/power that I require to have some hearing. With me, the aid is in my "good" ear, the other lug hole having given up completely about 20 years ago. Without an aid, I am totally deaf.

Having spent easily more than £20,000 ($40,000) on both digital and analogue aids over the years, next time I shall be expecting one free from the NHS and a free supply of batteries, the cost of which is a further drain on our pension income.

It is a shame you cannot volunteer to "test drive" these aids for the "would be" manufacturers and thereby always have one for free as they continually upgrade their models and of course seek feedback from educated users  Sad
