Short term apartments online

I am planning to visit Kiev in the end of Sep.
What would be the best (most reliable, least expensive, etc.) service to use for booking a short term apartment online?

Which one are best to be avoided?

Appreciate any insights!

Look on the main page of the EXPAT site.  Give it a few minutes and one of the apartment sites should cycle by.  Also, Steve H may have a suggestion, he's an occasional visitor here.

While I think the prices are great, 65 - 120 per night is a good deal for a central location, and most online booking services offer the same range of prices and apartments, the idea of my request was to ask for some personal experience, positive or negative... is it safe to make a pre-payment online?  and if they do not require pre-paymen, how high are the chances that you come there and find nobody? locked doors?

I have used a few different rental agencies and never had a bad experience.  Last one I used was www.ukrainefare.com  and they will deal on prices depending on time of year, and length of stay also think I used ukrapartments.com or something like that.  I just got on google, and looked... you will see same flat for different prices with different agencies.  Hope it helps.
