Buying or downloading English-language books.

A colleague of mine is looking to find S. Huntington's book "Clash of Civilisations" (perhaps fitting in light of this week's news), preferably online. Does anyone know of an internet source/library where she could find it? The genre would be 'international relations'.

Jonathan, what are old pensioners for? I used the google Ukraine search engine -

www.google.com.ua

put the book title in in English, enclosed in quotes, and specified "страницы из Украины" - sites from Ukraine!

OK I just checked the website given by Crlushika and I though I was hallucinating---$ 59 for this book while on Amazon it only costs $4???

True Vera! I was going to add it can also be bought on eBay, again, plus cost of delivery. I would have brought one over with me but we are slightly over our permitted luggage allowance! Don't ask me why everything is packed weeks before we leave for Ukraine - must be a Ukrainian thing.

I think I found it for about 6 pounds on Amazon - much more palatable than 280-odd hryvnya!

Has your friend ordered the book yet? I think I found something like the book you described in our local computer network. The person who scanned it seems to have messed things up. Some pages that should be at the end of the book are placed at the very beginning. But you still can read it, the quality isn't that bad. It's a PDF file, about 5 Megs. I uploaded it here
